AOI - it's true, black kids at Ilford station out of chicken boxes and eastern europeans too- about a year ago I went to visit an uncle and got offered weed by a pakistani kid in school uniform!!!

I found it ironic that on TV news last night a couple of decent sounding asian fellahs were saying how bad the area has become.
Talking about how much drug dealing is going on in plain sight of everyone. Said it's done by all kinds - asian, east euro's and black. Rozzers doing feck all about it.
All sounds a bit desperate.

I remember Sunday late mornings in the summer going to see the military or Sally Army bands play at the bandstands in Goodmayes Park, Westwood Park and Valentines Park with my mum, nan and siblings.
Loved it.
That's probably not changed at all.

ICHS 84-91 me.
Valentines Park is still a nice place. We take the kids there quite regularly. Tea and cake in the walled garden cafe and then feed the squirrels before visiting the parents in Chadwell Heath.
